Laughter Yoga is a mind and body exercise that allows us to tap into our natural state of childlike playfulness and JOY! It a combination of prompts and games to make the sounds of laughter and then natural laughter quickly follows. The Yoga part is the mind, body, and spirit connecting, also from the breathing component. When we laugh, we inhale and exhale, pumping our brain and body with oxygen. What a class looks like:
-Information introduction
-Body movement/warm up
-Laughter games
-Laughter meditation/relaxation
Laughter Yoga is a time to get silly, release emotions, and connect with ourselves and others. It's an antidote to stress, and it's a cardio workout without the sweat. People leave feeling light, relaxed, and happy. Plus, faking it is making it! Science has proven our bodies don't know the difference between real and fake laughter. Come create your awesome experience!
